Welcome to the 1-Hour Advocate Series

The 1-Hour Advocate is a self-guided educational program that breaks down key concepts in growth mindset, intellectual humility, and leadership into a series of learning modules that are easy to digest and comprehend.

The Teen Think Tank Project, a teen-run research institute, created these on-demand learning modules for teens and families interested in learning more about social justice and how to become an agent of change.

Each learning module is punctuated by insights provided by real-life advocates who have joined our community to help teens and their families embrace their desire to develop a voice in the world that they will inherit.

Teen Think Tank Project

The Teen Think Tank Project is a research institute whose mission is to help high-potential teens activate their passion for social change and develop a voice in the world they will inherit.

We work with exceptional students to develop the communication, leadership, and decision-making skills necessary to identify issues within their community and develop the intellectual humility and growth mindset required to create solutions to those problems.

We have worked with approximately 100 students, along with educational institutions, community organizations, and families, to help high-potential teens become change agents.

Alums of our program have worked with 60 thought leaders, conducted over 5000 hours of research, and written 100K words outlining public policy frameworks to solve real social justice issues.

An Introduction to the Teen Think Tank Project

In this 3-minute video, we highlight our process, alumni, and outcomes.

Our Work

We have worked with nearly 100 high school students, along with educational institutions, community organizations, and families, to help high-potential teens conduct over 5000 hours of research and write 100K words outlining public policy frameworks to solve real social issues.

Our Alumni

While we are not a "college prep" program, we take great pride in the fact that we have played a significant role in helping our alumni develop the growth mindset and intellectual humility necessary to gain acceptance to their first-choice colleges and universities.

Our Results

We have had the pleasure of working with students, parents, educators, and organizational leaders from across the country. Each has testified how our program has helped them, their children, and their students develop the skills necessary to become future leaders!
